Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By creating a workspace or accessing the TrueCarbon platform ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.
2. Account Registration & Tenant Security
To utilize the TrueCarbon workspace:
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete organization and administrator credentials during sign-up.
- You are solely responsible for safeguarding authentication cookies, tokens, and credentials.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your tenant.
3. Service Plans & Usage Restrictions
TrueCarbon offers Pilot, Programme, and Enterprise tiers. Each tier has specific resource constraints (e.g., maximum programs, participant limits, report export formats, and support channels). You agree to adhere to these limits and not attempt to bypass platform barriers or usage throttling.
4. Customer Data & Intellectual Property
Between TrueCarbon and you, you retain all ownership rights to the field data, participant information, coordinates, and images uploaded to your tenant workspace. TrueCarbon owns all rights, title, and interest in the platform software, dashboard designs, brand styling, database schema, and verification algorithms.
5. Verification Responsibility & Disclaimers
TrueCarbon provides tools for geospatial verification (L1) and role-based operational checks (L2). However, you remain solely responsible for the validity of the data submitted to external registries or third-party audits. The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrueCarbon will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the platform.
7. Term & Termination
You may terminate your workspace at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate workspaces that violate these terms, engage in abusive operations, or fail to settle outstanding subscription invoices.
